It was great to be back at Stonydelph Primary School last week to meet with their brilliant headteacher Esther Parsons.
The school has recently been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and the report really speaks for itself - “The school is committed to improving children's lives. This is achieved through the high-quality education pupils receive, the broad enrichment offer and the support and guidance pupils are given by staff. As a result, pupils flourish at school.”
It was great to hear about the wide range of sports and enrichment activities the school provide for their pupils. From archery to athletics and forest school to football. But there’s also been a real focus on improving their results and standards have risen across all subjects.
The staff at Stonydelph primary are fantastic and the school feels like a real asset to the area. I’m looking forward to visit again soon!
